About
Hello. I'm Annika.
I like solving problems through art, design, and making.
My work spans spatial design, ceramics, sketching, photography, and invention. I'm preparing for Western Washington University's Industrial Design pathway, and this portfolio is built to grow with me.
Interests
Visualization, sketching, product ideas, spatial design, ceramics, prototyping.
This is the most important page on the site, and it's the thinnest. Everything above is carried over from her earlier site — accurate, but written in the third person and fairly general. An admissions panel reads a hundred of these. What they remember is something specific: why objects rather than pictures, a moment when something she made worked or failed, what she notices that other people don't. Worth a twenty-minute conversation with Annika, recorded, and transcribed nearly verbatim.
